| For the web hosting itself, you pay your web hosting provider, usually once/year. We recommend Linux web hosting, not Windows web hosting. This has no effect on whether or not you use Windows on your computer, and Linux hosting is generally cheaper and gives you more security and control. The cheapest Linux hosting at Godaddy (one of our favorite hosts) is usually more than sufficient unless your site is currently almost overwhelmed with traffic. The last we checked, their price was about $62/year, and you can call them 24/7 to get it at (480) 505-8877. One of the nice features is their 24/7 support of your web hosting. BlueHost is also highly thought of. There are WordPress-only hosting solutions that are all-in-one, but we usually discourage those, because you have virtually zero freedom to choose the best plugins, templates, and fully customize your site with scripts, your graphics, etc. They block just about everything, and yet cost more. That said, if you want us to build on that type of restrictive hosting, we can do it, but we'd need to talk about specific requirements based on their unique limitations. | |

We also have subscription blogging available, if you'd prefer we do it. Blogging depends on consistency, longevity, originality, and relevance, so you must decide what will achieve those for you. | OPTIONAL - REDIRECTS: The actual URLs (addresses) of the old pages and posts that have been indexed in search engines and may be referenced in directories, your social media profiles, or in other pages on the web (as back links), etc. will all be different on the new site, because it will have a different addressing scheme. We can implement "redirects" for the most prominent pages and posts showing up in google, or for all that we can find, or for specific pages and posts you select, so that the old links still work for people, and so you don't lose the search engine value of those links. Keep in mind this is time sensitive - search engines and web sites actually start removing broken links, so your existing back links can dry up soon, reducing the search engine and social/people value of your new site, if you don't do it at the beginning of the build. It can happen anyway, but these plugins include good barriers to that. If you've used a company hosted platform in the past, it has a team of security people doing all of that in a way you never see. | OPTIONAL - LEAD CAPTURE: Installation and configuration of a lead capture form, so you can capture leads from anywhere on the site. Lead capture forms typically result in far lower bounce rates, and more contacts per hits than sites that don't have them. We can create a forwarding address in your domain hosting account (if they have provided that feature for you), so that, when someone e-mails you at the new address, it forwards to your existing e-mail address (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail). Once that's done, some web mail providers (Gmail, for example) provide you simple instructions for creating a "from" address in your web mail account, so you can send/reply from your own domain, looking very professional but not having to change e-mail tools.2. username and password. We need to verify you have this in order to
proceed.
- E-mail us the exact list of the items you want included (use the individual titles indicated).
- We will send you a link to the terms of service page so you can accept the terms.
- Once you have accepted the terms, we will send you an online invoice.
- Once the invoice is paid, we will begin the installation and setup.
